I finally turn 18 today! It feels like it’s taken forever for me to hit this milestone. For those of you that know me personally, you know all the issues I’ve had due to my age, now I can finally put that all behind me and start a new chapter of my life.

Last night we had a party at Sofia’s, where I invited about an odd 16-18 people. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and dishes and shared em out. I got to see some of my old friends and catch up with ones I haven’t seen since last year, it was great fun, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday party.

Then Tzup had to ruiiin it by bringing out fatty cake and getting everyone to sing happy birthday, that was so embarrassing!

And that wasn’t even my birthday! I still have a whole week of surprises to come. So far though, it’s been a fantastic birthday and I don’t think anyone can ruin it for me.

Anyways, I need to wrap this up and go to work ( Yuck! Work on my birthday XD ), birthday comments are encouraged in the comments section :3

Holy Crap.

The con was a blast, I met so many people, many of which more than twice because of my forgetfulness, got to see 2 Gryphon and Mr Conway again, they’re always fantastic people to talk to, I do hope that they both join us again next year.

There’s alot for me to say about the con, which I might post in a more detailed journal, but for now I’ll leave highlights and cons.

Highlights

Getting to see all my old friends, and meet new ones I’ve talked to online but never met.

Watching 2 and Kage act like goofs is always great fun

Being mentioned a few times by 2 as the guy he shoots zombies with online X3

Going to a nice Indian restaurant with Uncle Kage and a few friends, I has some nice conversation and learned to like Indian food

My friends helping me out financially when I really needed it ( I’ll make it up to you guys next year <3 )

Cons

Needing to deal with drunk furs quite a few times

Not being able to join in on the dance parties was a huge issue for me, but the chairman did his best for the under 18’s and I am extremely grateful for what he did for us.

A friend skipping a dinner I would’ve liked him to attend

Not getting to speak to 2 before I had to leave the hotel

Having to play Jordan at the GH2 Comp

But overall I had a crazy and awesome experience and I can’t wait for next year <3

So, MiDFur’s only 1 week away! I’ve gotta be real careful with my spending since I only have 100 dollars to live off while I’m there, but I’m still excited as hell!

I gotta say Hi to so many furs, including 2 Gryphon, Cyrin and Rob Wolven Claw.

Work’s been pretty good, I’m getting 15 bucks for the Kris Kringle with is neat, I got my manager a box of chocolates, cause everyone likes Chocolate!

My brothers Xbox 360 Red Ringed, he’s incredibly pissed and, to be honest, so am I, right after it was banned from Live no less. Talk about bad luck.

I’m gonna try and keep updating this more often than I have been, and adding more links and videos.

Anyways, I’m gonna keep this one short, so until next week.

Okay. Where do I  begin?

My first Red Rooster shift was pretty boring, as was the second, all I did was online inductions, but it was paid so I can’t complain.

However, I happened to come down with a terrible throat infection around my first weekend of work. How many times something like this has happened I’ve lost count, but I really think I should look deeper into it to see what could be the cause of getting sick so much. And only yesterday, I had a customer tell me off, because I thought the pineapple fritters were already in the bag. He called me a fucking idiot, very rudely and harshly. My nerves were racked for the rest of my shift, especially since my father and I had a fight the same day.

Uni has started to become more and more stressful, with the evaluation coming up and my lack of completed work, I began to panic that I wouldn’t pass, that just made it harder for me to concentrate on finished said work, a vicious cycle, though I managed to overcome it in the last week and finished quite a few pieces of uncompleted tasks, hopefully it’ll be enough to make it this year.

Though having a new job and the year coming to a close, I’ve started to return to normal, I even cleaned my room today, more thoroughly than usual. I’m really proud of myself. Plus Tzup will be back in a little less than a month…. I can’t wait <3

I finally pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2, I’ve been playing the demo heaps ( As you can see in the video I posted earlier last week ) and I’ve been getting pumped for it. The game play has been improved alot and it’s nice to finally see a large range of weapons. Just a matter of days <3

Unfortunately I haven’t been keeping up on my dance classes, this is mainly due to either being distracted with my homework, being sick or my job. I’m gonna get back into the swing of things, as well as signing up to the gym with Jack, hopefully I can start getting in shape.

I’ve also been a bit frustrated with a few people who I’ve either requested or commissioned art from. Either they’ve been busy, have an art block or are just plain forgetful, some I’ve been waiting a while, some others I’ve only just paid for, but I was told it would be done much sooner.

Though I do understand it’s hard for them to keep up with their commissions and a busy life, plus any kind of artistic block is a huge pain in the ass, I just get over excited and then disappointed, I suppose.

It’s been getting hotter by the damn day and I’m hating it, the air conditioning is on the other side of the house so the place heats up quite a bit. Summer sucks.

MidFur is only weeks away! I’m pumped! I’ve got a paycheck coming through the week before so I’ll be right with money, it’s gonna kick so much ass!

This week’s been ok so far. On Tuesday I had my first shift at Red Rooster, but annoyingly I started to come down with a infection in the throat on the same day, so I’ve been having to deal with that. I’ve been getting headaches and my throat’s been sore and making my voice all raspy.

On a more positive note, we had a screening of the work we had done in Multimedia this year, with our relatives and classmates etc . I got an award for being the most enthusiastic, along with Pixie, and received a 25 dollar voucher for JB-Hifi and won the door prize, which was a free movie at the local cinemas.

I was pretty surprised that I got an award, since I personally think I could’ve done better this year, but I guess life’s full of surprises.

Also I’ve been playing Borderlands, which is absolutely wicked, I’ll post a pic of my current character below, it’s really good and you guys should all go grab a copy!

Anyways, I gotta go make myself another damn lemon and honey tea.

As you all know I’ve been fairly stressed, wondering if I’m really gonna make it through TAFE this year or not. I’ve been worrying about Tzup ( Even though I know that he’s busy, I’m just super paranoid ) and bugging Red Rooster all week for my roster.

So to wrap up my week, I’ve started to become more confident in myself about my TAFE course, tried my best to just settle down and not worry about stuff, and finally heard back from RR, so my first shift is next Tuesday !

I’m not really doing anything this weekend though, gotta sort out my new mobile phone with my Mum, not really sure what else, though I’m really excited to start Photography this Monday
